↓ about PW SHORT ↓

Scot Hinson opened PW Short in 2015 as an homage to his grandfather, Paul W. Short, who had a Southern States store in Georgetown, Delaware.

At his grandfather’s shop you could find anything from boots and overalls to feed and seed all while sitting around a floor furnace to catch up on the latest happenings in town. Hinson wanted to recreate the feeling of a small town community meeting place where you could find everything from French copper pots to smart phone chargers edited with utilitarian design in mind.

PW Short is Savannah’s modern day general store, selling a variety of mid century style barware, kitchenware, and everyday household items. PW Short also sells local food and other artisanal goods including caramels, pickled items, and cookbooks.

PW Short has created its own line of merchandise as well under the Hinson Brand, creating multiple different barware tools and a messenger bag.
